Hi

Could someone tell me if this is the proper procedure to change the IP/CIDR on an ethernet interface? (we would be changing it from xx.xx.xx.164/24 to xx.xx.xx.164/23)

On the admin console, I would go to Network > Interface > Ethernet Interface

Then, I go on the Ethernet interface (eth1) that has the subnet that needs to be changed. Once on that panel, I adjust the CIDR value from 24 to 23, hit apply, save the configuration, and reboot the appliance?

It sounds way simple and I'm probably missing something, so could someone enlighten me if this entails more than what I am describing? I have read an Infocenter document and it said to do a clear-all on the command line after saving the new CIDR and before rebooting. Is that safe to do? Does that just clear a cache? (Sorry, haven't found anywhere that tells me what that command actually does)
