Hello there,

I have a partner which sent us around 100 000 messages ( the same ) and crashed one of our production application. To warning and stop this kind of error I'll put a Multi Protocol Gateway between the Queue Manager which receives messages ( in a Local Queue ) and our MQ Fact in INTRANET.

Everything is ok and messages goes from Web Zone to Intranet very well and quickly as light.

Right now, I try to implement a SLM thing which will be suppose to work like this :

Normal Flows : 1 to 300 messages sent per minutes for 10 or 15 minutes max ( a batch process Partner side ).

Warning Flows ( shape ) : 301 to 500 messages per minutes for 10 or 30 minutes,

Error Flow ( Reject and close MPG ) : more than 500 per minutes...

I try SLM Policy but I'm really a newbie one on this.

I really appreciate some help on this

Thanx
