Hi,

Based on notes I've seen recently at : http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21495757 , it looks like FTE can be used instead of NDM even when the counterparty is using ndm. reviewing various other forum postings and discussions seems to suggest the same too, but havent seen a firm yes or no yet... Would anyone here know if there may be any drawbacks in pursuing this approach?

Sounds like it has a bridge. You may need the C:D client installed.

Time to call your IBM sales or technical rep.

Connect:Direct is a sever-server product. There is no "client". There are agents...

There is also what was called C:D FTP plus.

connect:direct client gives 3 million hits on Google!
