Hopefully, that situation would be changed but as of now, the Datapower is simply a black box to me.

My department is responsible for production support where datapower is one of the several technologies we support. In a discussion, it came out that, Datapower cannot be automated ( meaning both functionalities of datapower - configuration and development( stypesheet) can not be automated. Meaning, we can not scripted it, or can not configure one datapower, copy that config and copy to next dp. Is that really true? the newly invented equipment does that all these constraint?

If someone can just shed some light onn it, that would be great.

DataPower supports exporting tested configurations from a Dev device to one/many QA/PROD (1-n) appliances, this can also be scripted for nightly backups (perhaps)
