Even if you choose not to join this group, you should join LinkedIn if you are not a member already.

Brandon Duncan, the founding father of mqseries.net, works for LinkedIn these days.

So it would at least be a sign of thanks to join.

And I give kudos to LinkedIn (and Brandon).... I think the interface is elegant and the functionality is remarkable.

And no updates from Farmville, either.

It looks that we need a little extra helping hand from our own various forums members to tell others about the Linkedin MQSeries.net Group.

By the helping hand requested I mean that every forums member who reads this to please seriously consider joining the MQSeries.net Linkedin Group on her/his own + as well as inviting other friends/colleagues/user groups/other forums who are in some form connected with and interested in WMQ, WMB and all WebSphere related topics know about the Linkedin group we have set up.

Here is the link info again http://www.linkedin.com/groups?mostPopular=&gid=3872813

Thanks.

It's a challenge!

I have a plan. First, I'll make some friends.....

....ok, need a more realistic plan.......

I forgot that I'm dealing with awkwardly social geeks on this forum. Maybe I will win this challenge.

No wait, that's not what I meant. I meant to say, "Vitor, I'm sure you have lots and lots of friends. Just like all the other suave and debonair members of this forum."

The gauntlet has been cast down! Go forth and invite!

Yes, the suave & debonair members group is currently looking for larger premises to meet in. We still all fit in the phone booth, but with advancing age & advancing waistlines....

You must have room in the dungeon? The light's bad down there, so no large waistlines will be visible (and of course just how advanced in age some are - we all look good in bad light) and plenty of things to sit on, some of which may be a teensy-weensy bit painful, but...

Reminds me of an old joke, attributed to Churchill (I shall Atlanticize it):

Man asks Churchill, "Can you give me a nickel (sixpence)? I'll like to phone a friend."

Churchill: "Here's a dime (shilling) - phone all of them!"

And another old Churchill joke:

Nancy Astor: Winston, if you were my husband, I'd poison your tea.

Winston Churchill: Nancy, if I were your husband, I'd drink it!

Another Churchill, where the woman is often claimed to be Lady Astor but isn't:

Bessie Braddock: Winston, you're drunk!

Winston Churchill: Madam, you're ugly. But in the morning, I will be sober.
