If you are using MQSeries client connections to a queue manager, you will NOT be able to store any messages if the target queue manager is down. This is the primary differentiator between client and server connections. If you need continued ability to put messages even though the network or remote server is unavailable, consider a local queue manager.

If you have a lot of small systems, you might consider MQ Everyplace as a simpler (and cheaper) alternative to a full local MQ queue manager and still get the local queuing features.

Hi Pat,
Thanque for your responce. We have so many stores(100 to 300),and want to connect to mqserver.initially we planed for client and server set up.Right now our idea is every store capable of storing information there it self and send information 2 or 3 times a day.these stores put messages on that store queues and by using dial-up send information to the server.you know if it is client and server set up,we can not maintain queues on client side.main aim is to avoid continuation connection between client and server to reduce price.
so according to my requirement is this every place maintain queues on store system.i heard about agent.do you have any idea about agent(it's not client)?
thanks,
Venkat
