Love MO71 but when I exit there is a message that it cannot write to MQMON.CFG and I lose all the locations added ... does any of you learned, wise and helpful folks out there know where I screwed up?

Check the permissions etc. on the file...

I opened the file with wordpad ... this set the ".CFG" as a word pad application and the file icon went from (??) to something.
Then I went back and ran mqmonntp, added a location, exitted: there was not prompt and it saved ...
Did not have to touch the file attributes (they were public, everybody do anything to the file) ... guess it is another way MS via Windows makes our lives a puzzle.
