So, File Transfer Edition has announced that 7.0.2 will include the Protocol Bridge functionality that will allow sending of files to and from FTP servers from a special FTE (Bridge) Agent.

I'm just wondering what (S)FTP servers people out there actually use today.

I'm aware of some freeware stuff like Filezilla which will run on Windows, and the 'built in' VSFTPD that will run on unixes - but are there any other (S)FTP servers that are commonly used out there that you think FTE should definitely work with?

The DataPower SFTP server for sure (XI50 and XB60). Assume you would call these Unix in your configuration??

OpenSSH (OpenSSL) generally for AIX and Linux. Sun_SSH on Solaris. Maybe later i-series and z/os.

There's probably an IIS version of SFTP that companies use. It probably does things in a slightly non-standard way.
