Hi,
I am currently trying to build my own run-time client using the given API calls from MQSeries workflow.
I don't really understand when does the dialog for Input Data Structure prompts to the user for entering the information?? If I have two different Data Structures and they're both assigned to different program activity as input data structure, then will both of them be prompted to the user?

The data that the IBM supplied client prompts for is the data structure defined as the Input Data Structure for the PROCESS.

If you wish to do something similar, you would need to allow your User to set the Data members that are part of this Data strucutre.

hi John,
Thanks for your help. So, each process has only one input data structure that the user can enter information into it. That means even if I have different data structure assigned to each of the activity, they cannot be set to any value by the user?

greatly appreciate your help,
Louisa

Do you understand the concept of Data Mapping? What you need to do is have all of the data that is "user specified" in a data structure that is set as the Input Data Structure (Source) of the process (do this in the Process settings, Data Tab), then using Data mapping move the specific data members to the activities where they are needed.

Hope this helps.
