The library is used to hook a Java application to a queue manager using inter-process communication. MQ Java support on Linux only supports client connection not server binding hence no library.

Thanks.
Is there anyway we can purchase it or do you know if Hursley is intending to port the bind stuff to Linux? I find bindings a lot more faster.

You can't purchase the server bindings function for MQ ... it simply isn't part of the product. You have raised an interesting question as to why it isn't there...

Interestingly, the amqsput0 programs which use IPC all work on Linux! They don't use any channels. I guess the Java porting folks never bothered to write the JNI wrappers for mqbind!

I am going to get on their case - with their focus on Linux, this does not make any sense at all.
And this is the 2nd time that Linux is being given the step-parent treatment - the first time was around when they dropped PUB-SUB for 5.2 on Linux (esp after they had it on 5.1!)
