I want to know about the performance of JRIO Packages.JRIO API is used for accessing mainframe datasets. I have a receiver adaptor(written in java using JRIO routines) in mainframe, which read from the queue and writes to VSAM file based on the key value. If the key already there in VSAM file, it would update the record. We usually have 100000 messages to be passed .The
maximum CPU time for which any program can run is set to around 20 mins.
This program runs for about 20 mins and then stops. looks like the JRIO
package is taking up all the CPU time. At some point the max m/f 1CPU%
utilized is as high as 29%.
If somebody who have worked on JRIO packages, please get back me how can we get rid of the problem.
