Hi,

Multiple instances of runmqlsr.exe and runmqchi.exe are running on windows environment. Due to this many AMQ*.exe are running which utilizes lot of CPU and memory.

I have restarted the MQ Series services and restart every queue manager. Still the problem is not resolved.

Kindly let me know why so many instances are running and how to kill these?

There could be lot of channels which are communicating with other queue managers or clients.

each channel is a process. so it will eat up some resource.

Let us know, how many clients /qmgrs are communicating each other from this particular queue manager.

Each instance of a channel is a thread in a process.

If there's more than one runmqlsr, there's more than one listener.

This could mean more than one queue manager on the machine, or merely more than one listener.

Regardless, the point holds: if there are a bunch of these processes running, it's because there's a bunch of MQ traffic.
