BLOB data and MQ

Can we write an BLOB data in a queue? we have to retrive a blob data from db and then write this data to a queue.
Note:This BLOB data is an XML. which is converted to BLOB from CLOB before putting in to D/B. Now we have to retrive this data for some specific use. Application is MQ, .net applaication.

Please help me out..

The queue has no knowledge of the contents of a message, except that indicated by the MQMD.Format field. In theory you can send a JPG or MP3 as a message (subject to size constraints obviously).
