Hi all,
I installed s/w in following order,
1. J2SE 1.3.1
2. J2EE 1.3
Wrote some Java programs and they worked fine.
3. Installed MQSeries 5.1
4. Apply CSD7
Java program compiles fine but while executing them i get following error.
E:prog>javac str.java
E:prog>java str.java
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: str/java
The program I am trying to compile is very simple. It prints "hello world!". Now I am not able to execute any java program on the machine. Did MQSeries change my settings?

Maybe you just made a type when creating your posting, but I noticed that you weren't running the program properly:
E:prog>javac str.java
E:prog>java str.java
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: str/java
While javac does expect a file with .java at the end of it, "java" doesn't and in fact gives you an error much like you've shown. I believe you should just be saying:
"java str"
Hopefully this is the problem...
