Hi all,
I have got some trouble on my W2K laptop.
I have installed WMQ 5.2.1, MA88 (dated from 5 April 2002).
I have then installed WMQe 1.2.6 and the MQe Explorer.
My JDK is Sun 1.3.1
My classpath seems to be OK (according to the documentation):

E:\WMQe\Java\com\ibm\mqe\mqbridge;
E:\WMQe\Java;
E:\WMQ\Java\sample\base;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib;
E:\WMQ\Java\bin;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mqbind.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mqjms.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\connector.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\fscontext.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\jta.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\ldap.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\providerutil.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mq.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\jms.jar;
E:\WMQ\Java\lib\jndi.jar;

But when I open the MQe Explorer and create a MQe queue manager, I have the Enable Bridge to MQSeries box disabled i.e. in grey. And when I select Help > About MQe Explorer > System Info, I have MQ Classes for java not present but the CLASSPATH shown is :

:\WMQe\Java\MQe_Explorer\MQe_Explorer.exe; C:\WINNT\java\trustlib\; C:\WINNT\java\classes\; E:\WMQe\Java\MQe_Explorer\; E:\WMQe\Java\com\ibm\mqe\mqbridge\; E:\WMQe\Java\; E:\CrossWorlds\lib\rt.jar; E:\WebSphere\AppServer\lib\websphere.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\; E:\WMQ\Java\bin\; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mqbind.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mqjms.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\connector.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\fscontext.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\jta.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\ldap.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\providerutil.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\com.ibm.mq.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\jms.jar; E:\WMQ\Java\lib\jndi.jar; C:\Program Files\IBM\IBM CICS Transaction Gateway\Classes\CTGCLIENT.JAR; C:\Program Files\IBM\IBM CICS Transaction Gateway\Classes\CTGSERVER.JAR; C:\Program Files\IBM\IBM CICS Transaction Gateway\Classes\CICSJ2EE.JAR; C:\Program Files\IBM\IBM CICS Transaction Gateway\Classes\CTGSAMPLES.JAR; E:\WMQe\Java\MQe_Explorer\; E:\DB2\java\db2java.zip; E:\DB2\java\runtime.zip; E:\DB2\java\sqlj.zip; E:\DB2\bin\;

Does anybody have an idea about such trouble ? Is there any parameter or setup that I should missed or is it something else ?

Any help appreciated !!!
Thanks in advance.

Check the documenattion whether the MQeExplorer tool supports the MQeBridge functionality or not .i think it does not support the MQBirdge Creation using the MQeExplorer tool as per the MQe1.2.4 verison.

U can create a bridge to the MQSeries using the example program given in examples.mqbridge.administration.commandline.MQBridgeCreator or use the GUI tool when run the AWTMQBridgeServer program.

Thanks
Shanker
