Has anyone tried installing WMQI CSD2 on Control Center workstation? Are there any known problems?

I have installed CSD02 yesterday on my Control Center workstation. Since then it doesn't work. I can start my CC, but all the panes remain empty and sometimes I get the message "BIP0006E Incorrect parameters were supplied". The only way to close the CC is using the Windows Task Manager.
Does this sound familiair to anyone and is there a solution?

Erik,

There was a thread similar to this. I am not sure if it is the exact problem you have but check out the following url.

After I installed CSD2 on my machine, my CC came up ok but then nothing happens! It doesn't even connect to Configuration Manager. If I explicitly open my workspace file, it takes forever and then never comes back! In the mean time if I click on File->Connection to bring up the dialog box to connect to ConfigMgr, the dialog box comes ok but after I click on OK button the dialog box doesn't go off. I can not close the CC after that ... I have to kill the process from Task Manager. The only reason I want to have CSD02 installed on my CC machine is ...

(Text from CSD02 U200171.txt)
"CSD02 introduces the concept of prefixed identifiers for MRM elements. Refer to the Working with Messages book, Chapter 4 section "Names and Identifiers" for full details. If this concept is exploited, you must ensure that all components of your WMQI domain are upgraded to CSD2, that is, your Configuration Manager, all Control Centers, and all brokers to which a message set containing such elements is to deployed. Failure to upgrade in this manner will result in parse errors in the broker. Please note also that the DTD Importer functionality of the Control Center exploits prefixed identifiers, so if this is used to populate message sets then the upgrade stated above must be performed."

After I uninstaleld CSD2 then everything worked fine!
Any help in this regard is appreciated.

I had the same problem (use of Task Manager to kill cc process).
You can execute in a DOS prompt the mqsilcc.bat in a DEBUG mode( -- mqsilcc.bat 2 --)
With this mode, i saw what library was missing. If there is a problem once, it's finish, you always generate an error and so, can't quit aplication.

This is amazing, don't IBM test these CSDs?

With such a lot of changes IBM should be doing Beta versions of the CSD before pronouncing it fit for customer use?

When's CSD 3 out??
