I have unclear conclusion that XMLNSC domain does not support derived types in instance documentsNo, that's not correct. XMLNSC is a fully-compliant validating XML parser. The MRM parser is not - it h ...

Ideally, the creation of the BAR file and the deployment of the BAR file are scripted. Your build/deploy process then looks like this:
- extract the source files *and* the BAR file overrides from the ...

Schemas used by SOAP or XMLNSC must first be deployed to IIB. You could fetch a schema from WSDL in a message flow, but it would not be usable for XML validation using the built-in parsers.

time for a PMR?I have to agree - the auto-casting behaviour of the JSON parser seems to rely on things that the developer cannot control ( e.g. behaviour of upstream applications ).

Having said tha ...

I think the OP's XPath looks OK. Only the root element has a namespace - the child elements are not in any namespace. So I don't think that's the problem.
The /XMLNSC at the start is wrong - MbXPath ...

My advice would be to go back to the basics. Make sure that you understand what the message should look like right down to the individual bytes. Then check every stage in the processing of the message ...

Nice work - glad you found the solution.

For the benefit of others who might read this thread in future - the OP's model should have worked, and this is definitely a defect. It is fixed in later ve ...

mqjeff is correct, but the OP appears to be using initiators throughout the schema already.

I looked at the DFDL trace and it looks like a product defect to me. I recommend:
- upgrade to WMB v8.0. ...

My general point stands - don't use service trace for normal message flow debugging. User trace is designed for that. If user trace is not adequate for debugging authentication problems then that's a ...

I strongly suggest that you recreate this using the simplest possible message flow. Then take a user trace.

If you still believe it is a bug, you should open a PMR with IBM and supply your simple t ...
