They are not in clusters.

Actually its an old interface and we are not sure how many and how they connect to the qmgr. The known interface we migrate and rest are to connect to the old qmgr... But ...

I know its a very bad idea to have duplicate qmgr names in a network. But we have an unavoidable situation in qmgr migration.

Only half of the applications would be connecting to the migrated qmgr ...

ok, we currently do not follow a pattern in naming the queues, so I had given the authority with '**'
i.e

setmqaut -m qmgr -n '**' -t queue -g supp +browse +dsp +inq

and dmpmqaut output is li ...

Is there are way to give authorisation to MQ objects generically? I am trying to give read only authorisation to MQ objects for currently, we have to run the setmqaut for every new object created.
