HA means that one MQ is on standby, how do you mean to implement round-robin? I suspect you are not really do HA setup, but active-active. Am I right?

If so, you should use MQ cluster, not load ba ...

Is there ad difference when adding instances at BAR file or in the MQInput node terminals tab?

The only difference that I've found is "Order mode" at Advanced tab.

My point is that trying to bend an IBM product / using an undocumented feature / kludging some kind of workaround is a very dubious course of action.

I mounted /var/mqsi/shared-classes folder, af ...

What's wrong with the auto-scaling feature that controls instances?

Do you suggest to use it by default? there is no overhead when turning this feature on, when not needed?

But yes, using the st ...

Is there a way to figure out from the statistics:
1) That the workload is too heavy, and an additional instance is required?
2) That there are too many instances, and some can be discarded?

JAVA code that runs in the Broker JVM uses /var/mqsi as the default location for files.
Is there a way to change it, outside of the JAVA code, without changing the MQSI workpath?
