How vital is the logging information you're capturing ? Does it have to be exchanged using persistent messages or would non-persistent suffice ?

Huh.

Did you make 4 separate Transmission Queues as well? Or do the 4 Remote Queues all resolve to the same Transmit Queue?

Is it repeatable - 4 queues always faster, one queue always slower?

Have you run a user trace to see if you can identify where the overhead is being incurred ?

We use a similar approach for audit and as far as I know don't encounter such a problem in IIBv10.

I guess each individual SHARED variable access statement is guaranteed to be atomic then. You do need to be careful of cases where you have multiple SHARED variable accesses in one piece of code.
