We currently implement pretty comprehensive functional unit testing for MB as well as code coverage analysis.

A great deal of interest has been generated recently in static code analysis tooling, and to that end we are starting to make use of tools such as Coverity and similar products.

Naturally my bosses are asking questions about what we could do for ESQL.

Has anyone had any experience of this, or any thoughts about the relevance of this approach for MB ?

[lancelotlinc] I'm not sure why you have left a link to the IAM2 support pack. I already said that we have code coverage analysis sorted and indeed it is based on IAM2 with some tweaks as well as integration to Cobertura style reports.

What I'm asking about is static code analysis

We also have a similar requirement in our project. We have a mixture of Java and ESQL implementations in our flows. For Java we have sorted out the Static Code Analysis tool but are for ESQL we are yet to get an appropriate tool. Please help...
